2012 God showed us the concept of reaching the “Prisoners outside the prison”. Many of the people (the broken, lost, abandoned, drug dealers, prostitutes, addicts etc) whom we want to minister to inside prison walls are in an emotional and spiritual prison. They are imprisoned by their lives on the streets of the Inner-City, right on our front doorsteps.

We obeyed the Holy Spirit’s prompting and started looking at possibilities; immediately, doors opened in front of us and the Inner-City Ministry, Kempton Park, was founded on the 21st April 2013. Registration Number 170-439 NPO.

Current Inner-City Ministry branches:

•    Benoni     (White House Healing Centre, Cnr Woburn and Kimbolton Street)

•    Springs     (St. Michaels Presbyterian Church Hall, No 1, 7th Street)

•    Kempton Park   (NG Church Hall, Cnr Monument and Kempton Road)

“God says, ‘Rebuild the road! Clear away the rocks and stones so My people can return from captivity.”

Isaiah 57:14 (NLT)

His promise to the people:

I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead them. I will comfort those who mourn, bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far,” says the Lord, who heals them.” Isaiah 57:18-19 (NLT)

His assurance to us:

“I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.”

Isaiah 45:2-3 (NKJV)
